2020 is the year of community. New platforms, niches and an unbundling of vertical social networks. We have also seen countless examples of the tech sector coming together to help society adapt to a new normal and in the fight against Covid. As Europe enters a second lockdown, the need to find (or create) a sense of belonging in an online group only becomes stronger. With that in mind, I am humbled to welcome Chis Heivly (VP Innovation, Techstars) as the next #EcosystemGiants guest on Tuesday 10, November 2020 in a conversation on building a billion dollar business and startup communities 101!
A productive way to spend the Tuesday lunch break(1pm) - RSVP here.
Chris Heivly is one of the US leading experts on launching startups, named the "Startup Whisperer” and has played a huge role in setting up leading global accelerator Techstars’ Ecosystem(where he is also currently an EIR). In 1999, he had a $1.2 billion startup exit (MapQuest to AOL) and then, for over 30 years, Chris has worked at the highest levels for some of the world’s most recognized brands. We’ll discuss finding early stage product market fit and why community is essential for business growth.
